Make SageTV stop recording after a number of episodes?

I'm just getting started with SageTV after about 5 years with MythTV. I'm delighted to be getting away from the complexities of Linux, and overall I view Sage as a better platform than Myth.

I've found, however, that Sage is far more inclined to record everything in sight than MythTV was. For example, I like to keep a dozen or so episodes of a show on hand, and then not record any more episodes until I have watched (and deleted) some of the existing shows. A prime example of this is the show "How It's Made". They have had a marathon over the last few days and now I have 150+ episodes recorded.

I'm not so concerned with the storage space as I am with the tuner utilization. My wife still likes to watch live TV (via Sage) . The constant barrage of requests to change the channel to record something else is damaging the WAF. I have two tuners, which was plenty under Myth to record and watch everything I wanted.

So to make a very long story short, is there any way to make SageTV stop recording a show once a set number of episodes have been captured? The existing max episodes setting, as far as I can tell, just deletes older episodes as it continues to record new ones.

EDIT: I just had another thought- it would be great if you could set a given scheduled recording at a lower priority than LiveTV, so that if LiveTV is on, Sage won't even ask to change the channel...

Thanks!

Stopping at N recordings is explained in the SageTV PDF manual (installed with SageTV) on pages 69 - 70, where the various Favorite settings are described.
