Setup > Detailed Setup > Multimedia > Recording Quality
Here you can set the default Recording Quality for each individual tuner, and the overall default RQ for SageTV. 2 things: 1) RQ can also be set independently in each Favorite 2) Setup > Detailed Setup > Customize > Enforce Recording Quality in Schedule. This option can restrict which tuners can record which favorites, for example if only some tuners support HD and the Favorite is set to an HD RQ.
