Backup Channel Mappings?

Good morning! I've searched the forum but haven't found the right answer, maybe I'm using the wrong terms.

Scenario: I was messing w/ my SageTV directory and jacked some stuff up. At this point, I think the best thing to do is a clean install, but I want to back up my channel remappings I took so long to do. How do I accomplish that?

When I reuistall, do I setup the tuners but don't mess w/ the channels, then copy the old .FRQ files back? Is it that simple? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
