DirecTV Channel Changing

I have setup my pc to change the channels of my directv box using the usb -> serial connection method. My directv box is an H21. I've tested the channel changing using the DTVControl utility. I've got it working fine, although channel up and down do no work, but I can live with that as long as the channel numbers and set buttons work. I got them to work using the D10-100 command sets.

But now when I go into SageTV I cannot get it to tune to the correct channel. I can understand that channel up and down do not work since it doesn't work in the DTVControl either, but when I select a channel from the programming guide it doesn't tune to either. It doesn't even change the channel at all, it looks like it tries but my box always stays on the same channel.

I'm wondering what I need to do to get this to work. I guessing I either need a new Directv control dll for sage (or old one for that matter) or I need to tell sage to use the D10-100 command set like I did via the DTVControl app. I'm not sure which dll I might need or how to tell Sage to use the correct command set. Does anyone have any ideas how to get this to work? I know i can change channels with the setup i have since the DTVControl app works, but I'm not sure how to get it to work via Sage.
