Anyone else have DirecTV channel changing problems with RC3?
Hi,
I’ve spotted a problem with 2.0.18 RC3 with the channel changing via Direct Serial control to Sony SAT-A55 box. (I've only just upgraded this system to RC3 from 2.013). Basically it appears that if I try to change channel to any number under 100 it fails (though Sage thinks it has succeeded and updates the OSD with the new channel). Changes to channel 100 or above seem to work fine. I also (briefly) tried switching to use the DTV control with Exetunerplugin. This also appeared to have the same problem when it was receiving change commands from Sage (and ‘Failed!’ appeared in the DTV log windows), but when I manually clicked a number under 100 on the DTV control panel window, the channel changes worked. This didn’t appear to be a problem on 2.0.13, however I haven’t tried to use the releases between that and .18 on this system. I noticed that the channel changes which fail have the following lines in the log (note the last line): Thu 5/6 19:37:23.874 dtvSerialChannel(handle=2228, chan=39) Thu 5/6 19:37:23.916 DTVSerial Valid Command Recognized for handle 2228 Thu 5/6 19:37:23.916 DTVSerial Set Top is Processing Request for handle 2228 Thu 5/6 19:37:24.203 DTVSerial Unknown Command Response on handle 2228 of 0xf5 Whereas the successful ones don't have this last line: Thu 5/6 19:38:04.711 dtvSerialChannel(handle=2228, chan=203) Thu 5/6 19:38:04.763 DTVSerial Valid Command Recognized for handle 2228 Thu 5/6 19:38:04.763 DTVSerial Set Top is Processing Request for handle 2228 Thu 5/6 19:38:05.465 DTVSerial Command Successful for handle 2228 I've emailed this to Sage with the log file, but I just wondered if anyone else had the same problem? As a followup to this, it seems that the channel changing problem is not limited to channels below 100, as I've seen it on some 3-digit channels too.
