Scrambled video playback

When I am playing back H264 content it is occasionally playing all cubed up so that it looks like it is digitally scrambled. If I stop and start the video, it will usually clear up. It will also usually clear up if I change from full screen to looking at the video information screen. Most times one of these tricks will cure it. Sometimes, I need close Sage entirely.

It does not seem to matter at all where the H264 files are from. Either downloaded content from "places", the downloaded H264 content from Revision3 (I get a lot of this to watch) or any of my personal ripped DVD content that I store in H264.

Now for the tech info...

Windows XP Pro
X2 5000
2GB RAM
690G video
CoreAVC 2.0
FFDShow
NVidia PureVideo (For DVD content)
SageTV Client 6.6.2
SageMC latest version

Thanks in advance.

Jason.

At a guess, your video card is a little weak. That's the built in one, correct? The best I could do with it, was mpeg2, not 4.

Well, I thought that too but I have less capable single core clients that have no issues.

I guess I will have to just do a full reinstall of the OS and the drivers and see what happens.
