Scrambled Video - Audio Working correctly

Hello, occasionally when I change channels/accidentally spin my mouse wheel, the channel changes and ends up acting weirdly.

By weirdly I mean that the video becomes all scrambled, however the audio is working perfect. To fix this I have to stop playback, and then select the channel again to get it working clearly. Is this a common problem? If so, is it software or hardware related?

(By the way, this is for both inputs, analog and my QAM via HP 1600)

I'm having similar problem as well. I'll keep searching the forums on this. Has anyone been able to figure this out.

I checked other posting and saw a fix to use VMR9 renderer. That fixed my scrambled video issue. Although, now i'm having a playback freeze problem. Video and audio are OK for a few minutes, then the playback freezes on the client. i change channels and and it's fine.

if i change channels when freezeing problem appear then all are ok.
The biggest freeze is when sagetv finish rec, when pause appear.
