SageTV Client Can't Play HD-PVR Videos
Hello,
I just got two HD-PVRs up and running with SageTV. This is my first time with the HD-PVR. The video I record with the HD-PVRs plays perfectly with my HD200. However I can't play the video back with the SageTV Client Software installed on a computer. When I try to play the video back I receive a video decoding error. The computer will play back videos recorded with my HVR-2250 (HD and Analog). I assume the issue is that I have the wrong decoder selected or I need a codec installed. I would appreciate any advice/experience people have with using the HD-PVR and SageTV Client Software. Thanks, Will

Try this FAQ:
How can I play my Hauppauge HD-PVR recordings on a PC? You can now choose the H.264 decoder in the UI, though. And, there is a sticky at the top of this forum that lists decoders people have been using. - Andy
