What network settings???

I am running 6.6.2.218 on my server and client machines. I recently upgraded each to Windows 7, and I am having network issues. On XP pro I had zero issues.
* Playback of all files on Server directly - OK. Multiple instances of recording, playback, ComSkip, etc...No issues. SD cable playback OK, HD playback OK, Media Center DVD playback OK. Using EVR Renderer, nVidia Decoder, AC-3.
1- Playback thru MVP - All recorded shows OK, Live TV OK, HD transcoded playback OK. Media playback of DVDs - Problems. Most DVDs stutter and glitch.
2- Playback thru client - Cannot playback recorded shows - HD or SD, live TV (SD cable) plays fine, believe it or not!

If I copy over a media file to the client and play it from the client location it works fine, which leads me to believe it has something to do with the network and streaming of the media files. Can anyone give me ideas of the settings I should use? Enable or disabling certain features of my network adapters? Registry edits?

Thanks in advance!

You might want to do a google search for network throttling windows 7. I disabled network throttling for Vista.

I have another thread going about poor MVP playback as well as this one. It seems like these two might be related.

http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45778

DavePhan suggeasted turning off Windows Firewall on the above thread, and that worked for this problem, not the MVP!! I will play around with those settings and see if I can get it turned back on and still have proper playback on this client. So thank you!!

...But I still have the MVP playback of DVD issues. Anyone help on that one?
