Is there an "IR MFG Code" for the HD200 remote?

My TV's remote has modes for Sat box, DVD and the like. You can enter manufacture's codes for each of these settings.

If possible, I would like to use my TV remote for some of the HD200 functions (one remote on the table without having to buy a programmable remote). Does anyone know what the HD200 remote manufacture's code might be?

Thanks,
Bill

It uses the RC5 protocol by default. But you can program it to understand most any remote's codes, so you should just be ablt to pick a random DVR/PVR (like a Tivo) for your remote, and then just learn the buttons with the HD200.

Thanks!
I'll hit the manual for instructions on how to get the HD200 to learn instructions.

I just downloaded and looked through the HD200 manual. There was not much on the remote and I did not find anything on "teaching" the HD200 to interpret my TV's remote. Can you point me in the direction of some documentation on the process?

I see there is a way to link IR commands to Sage commands in the SageTV Server PC application. Using this begs the question, do I have to map three different remotes in three different rooms with HD-200s within the SageTV Server PC? If so, what happens if two of the remotes issue a different IR command for "Play" or two remotes issue the same command when one remote's "Play" button is pressed while the other's "Pause" button is pressed?

Is there a way to do the recieved IR command interpretation change at the HD200 interface? Does that question even make sense?

I tried viewing IR remote commands received by the HD200 working with the specific HD200 (living room TV) and going to Setup => Detailed Setup => Commands => View Commands. The HD200 remote evokes commands and shows their links as you would expect. My Sony TV remote in DVD mode issues commands (the TV remote light blinks) but the HD200 does not "see" any IR command activity. Are there different types of IR remote commands that would drive the HD200 to not see my TV remote's commands?
