20080730 - "BETA" code not working

Just trying to update to latest beta from 20080730 0, but the BETA "2382" does not seem to be taking... anyone else see this... tried multiple times with 2 different remotes.

Works fine for me, though I just did it via 20080804, I've used 20080730 to do the same thing in the past. What screen are you on when you try this? You are entering the numbers while no dialog is open, right?

Don't know what I was doing... worked fine this morning.

If you've hit anything else in the update menu, the code won't work, it needs to be the first 4 buttons you press when you enter the menu.

Actually, it just needs to be the last 4 buttons. I went in & pressed a whole bunch of buttons & it still worked. And, it is a toggle, so if you enter the code again, it turns off beta update mode. Anyway: if it doesn't say "Update Beta Firmware" at the top of the screen, the code hasn't taken or has been turned off by entering the code again.

I have seen this too.. I found that if you go into the firmware update menu and press in the 'BETA' code before you do anything else, it works.. but if I move the focus around in that menu and then try the code it wouldn't work.. until i exited the menu and came back in and repeated the code without doing anything else..

No biggie, but I did see that same issue, from what I gather is being said here..
