Need help 'moving recordings'

I'm having trouble getting Sage to recognize my old recordings after reinstalling my server's OS. I had XP and now I've upgraded to Win7 (clean install). I have the same setup as I had before (drives) with the exception that I removed a cd rom drive.

After installing the OS, I tried installing Sage and set things up according to these instructions:

How to move SageTV to a new computer and retain all recordings

Note: always create a backup copy of wiz.bin and sage.properties before trying anything listed below.

This is essentially an extremely extended version of moving a recording file.

advanced_video_file_recovery method, for SageTV version 6.3.9 and later

1. Install and configure SageTV on the new computer.
2. Create the new locations to store recordings and add those Video Recording Directories to SageTV.
3. Exit SageTV completely on the new computer. (I don't mean just put it to sleep -- this means stopping the service if you are using service mode; if not using service mode, just exit the SageTV application.)
4. Copy all your existing recordings to the desired Video Recording Directory locations on the new computer. (If the old network recording path will be visible to the new PC, move the recordings on the old PC to a new location or simply rename the directory they are in.)
5. Copy wiz.bin from the old computer, replacing the one on the new computer. (Found in the SageTV directory.) Do NOT copy sage.properties from the old computer.
6. Before you start SageTV with the files at their new paths on the new computer; set the following property in the Sage.properties file:
advanced_video_file_recovery=true
7. Restart SageTV on the new computer.
8. Check the SageTV Recordings menu to make sure the recordings are listed and play properly.
9. Once you have verified that you can access the files at the new locations in SageTV; you should exit SageTV and then edit the Sage.properties file back to:
advanced_video_file_recovery=false
(This property should not be left as true once this process is complete.)
10. Restart SageTV.
11. Once you have confirmed that SageTV is working properly on the new computer, uninstall SageTV from the old computer. Do not delete your old configuration files until you have confirmed the new installation with all the old recordings is working correctly.
My recordings were on my H: drive but being I took out the cd rom drive, the drive was named G:. I changed the letter of the drive to H: in windows prior to installing Sage so that everything should have appeared as it was before I installed the new OS. The advanced_video_file_recovery did try to match about 5 programs but I am unable to play them as Sage gives an error that it could not find them. I have about 200+ programs that are still in my H:\media\tvrecordings directory that I cannot access. So for step 4 I did nothing. I'm assuming that I do not need to move these files to a new directory as they are where I would like them to be. Is this wrong? Can someone tell me what I should try next?

I have been using Sage like this for a few days now. Will I need to revert back to my old wiz.bin again when trying another fix or can I continue using this one? Are the broken links/orphaned database entries still in this wiz.bin file?

Your help is _greatly_ appreciated!

Bonehead mistake. It seems that removing the cdrom drive caused two of my drives to be renamed. I was pointing at a different tvrecordings directory. I fixed the mistake and I've recovered all my recordings!

Please excuse my post. I need more sleep. Work and a newborn make thinking clearly a bit difficult.
