Cold Boot / Warm Boot
For lack of a better name, Im calling Cold boot when power is applied to the HD200.
Warm boot is when i use the power button on the remote to turn the device on. I just recently upgraded the firmware, and among other issues I have noticed, the boot time from Cold boot to usable on screen menu seems much longer. Cold boot from power on will take just over 2minutes, and if I use a warm boot it takes just under 20seconds. It seems to me that before I put the new firmware in the device, a cold boot would take more than 20secs, but certainly not over 1minute. Has anyone else noticed this slowdown? Is there a way to flash back to the previous firmware. I thought I was having an issue, but it doesn't appear the firmware/HD200 itself was causing the trouble. So, if I could just flash back, maybe my load times for cold boot would go down. Thanks Spook |

Instead of powering off the extender using the remote and then trying to power it on with the Power button, use the Home button instead.
That does a "warm" startup without going through the full boot process that the power button uses. |
