PVR250 Tuners losing tuning after cold boot
During the holidays I shut down my htpc and moved it to a friends house to get a channel from his cable that I did not have access to. When I booted it up, both tuners could not tune in any channel. After much trial and error I discovered how to get both back to recieving every channel. I had to remove both sources. Reinstall both sources, then shut down the system and turn off the power supply for about a minute to clear any memory. Then on reboot, everything worked! This procedure was repeated when I returned home and fired the htpc up. Anybody else have anything like this happen after an extended cold boot? And how to prevent it in the future?
