HDPVR 'no signal' upon cold or warm OS reboot

Well above is basically it. I just built this new server and am now using all my tuners. upon rebooting the OS I need to unplug the HDPVR from my PC and replug it to get it working with SageTV. I am using driver version 1.0.5.4 dated 12/15/2008 and Sage 6.5.6RC. anybody else having this issue? and anyone know of a way around it?

My hdpvr is a C2 Unit ... if that may be a factor.

Every time? Or just after an HD-PVR "lockup?"

If the latter, you can probabaly just power cycle the HD-PVR itself. If the former, then after reboot can you check device manager. Does it show there as present and working?

I always power cycle the hd capture boxes after I reboot the computer. Never really thought too much about it. I have used equipment at work that has that same *feature*.

Now there is the $100,000 question. As I mentioned I just set up this system. I'll try a reboot and see if it behaves better when it was shut down whilst everything was working.

Well *if* it doesn't behave on controlled reboot, that will be somewhat of an issue with the automatic updates coming down and sometimes requiring a reboot. course I suppose I could turn off automatic reboots.

I'm also having problems with the sage service hanging - so I am thinking tommorow I will remove the HD-PVR from my system and see if sage behaves better. if so ... well dunno if it is the beta sage software, the beta hd-pvr driver or the hd-pvr (rev C2). although I would lean towards the beta driver or beta software... as the hd-pvr was working pretty good before this new install. (murphys law...)

I too am getting the "No Signal" indicator . It only happens when I use S/PDIF, however. When I go with component all the way around, it works fine.
I'm running my server on WHS with 1.0.5.3 HD-PVR drivers, Sage 6.5.6.
I've opened a ticket with Sage to see where the problem lies.
