Studdering H264

I still new to the HD200 so please bear with me. When I play files using the HD200 in extender mode, that were mpeg and then converted to H264 using either TMPGenc Xpress or MovieStyle they stop and freeze at various points in the video. These same files do not do this when played on my computer using Sage or any other video players I have installed. I have tried using both the default and the CoreAVC in the H264 Video Decoder Filter.

Video/Audio Information of one of the files that freezes and starts:

Not sure if I answered my own question but if I encode using Main instead of Baseline the H264 video files play as they should. Does this make any sense?

Is H264 Baseline a no no?

Do the experienced and knowledgeable among you agree that the HD200 has problems playing H264 video that uses the Baseline setting?

When using H264 BP you should limit resolutions to 720x480x30 or 720x576x25. You were using 856x480 which is slightly higher. You could either use CBP instead if you need it to work on other devices that can't handle more advanced than BP or MP if that's not an issue.

That helps me to understand a bit more of the complexity of encoding H264. It is not a big issue since I rarely encode anything to H264. It was not until I recently got the HD200 that I even had the capability to play H264 files. It does mean that I can not use TMPGenc Movie Style to encode files to H264 because that software does not provide a choice, it defaults to BP or I could go with the lower resolution. However, I have numerous other softwares that I can use.
