HVR-1600 Bell 4100 Remote Issue

Hi All,

I am hoping I can get some badly needed help.

I have an HVR-1600 capture card with remote, IR receiver and blaster. Everything is working well except that I cannot get Sage TV to switch channels on the sat box. The remote is working, the IR receiver is working (I can use the remote to go through the Sage TV menus).

I located this thread that has an IR file for my Bell 4100 receiver but I don't know if it is required, what to name it or where to put it.

BTW, channel changing in WinTV also does not work. I tried using BlastCfg but my sat box is not in the list and when I try 'learning' mode, it fails always. I have read about the seating of the IR jack and have checked this.
