Hard to read screens, Mac

I have been using Sage for a year and am considering getting a placeshifter license so I can manage recordings/watch video when I travel.

I have a Mac laptop and I downloaded the trial.

Enclosed is a screen shot of what I see after I login to the server - I restarted the Mac and get the same results - I scaled the windows and get the same result.

Mac Placeshifter O/S: 10.6.2
Windows Sage server O/S: XP

I am thinking it may be that I fixed my sage interface to 720p but before I start messing with the server I thought I would ask as I use the server interface and a HD200 so I have to be careful messing with the settings.

I downloaded the beta version that supports 10.6 and the screens cleared up - working now!

I have tried every possible settings in mac and in sage. I can't get the characters to be legible. It looks like Chinese.

I have a MacBook air with snow leopard, 10.6.2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
