Removing a file from videos without deleting
I'm trying to move to Sage from BTV and almost have everything set up. SO far the only glitch I have left is that when I go into my videos, there is a series of podcasts showing up that are not in the directory that I specified for videos. So my question is how do I remove them from the videos screen without deleting them?
Apologies if this has been answered before, I'm in information overload when it comes to this forum |

Try to select "refresh imported media" If that does not help I guess it is because these files are in your directory for recorded video.

No, there is no XML file you can manually edit. The media library is stored in a binary database call Wiz.bin. There's an API for accessing the database, but that's probably overkill in your situation.
You say the podcasts are in your music directory. Is that directory configured as an import directory in Sage? Did you configure it to import just music, or did you allow it to import everything (music, pictures, and video)? Adjust your import settings and then Refresh Imported Media again. If the podcasts are not in any directory used by Sage (import or recording), then do you know how they got into your database in the first place? If all else fails, you can always move them into a new directory Sage doesn't know about. You may have to restart Sage and/or Refresh Imported Media to get it to notice that they're gone from where they used to be.
