Can't Select Wireless option for HD Theater

Have a new Sage HD Extender with the very latest firmware. I have an Encore ENUWI-N3 wireless usb. When I plug it in and reboot under settings and network I only have the Wired option? Did a reset on the extender and still only wired option. Any ideas???

Thanks

Keith

Are you using the latest Beta firmware? What is the date of the firmware? If 20090903 then it is not beta and before wireless option. The latest beta firmware is 20091026.

If you have the latest beta firmware then that model may not be supported. I have the recommended ENUWI-N not the ENUWI-N3 you have. See http://forums.sage.tv/forums/showthr...13&postcount=1.

I believe the N3 uses a different chipset that is not supported. There are only a few wireless adapters that use the chipset they're supporting.

Read the manual and info that comes with your hd200. You need to enable beta updates by entering 2382 at the update screen. Also refer to the FAQ.

HD200 wireless adapter

I wanted to try out the HD200 using wifi. The encore adapter is sold out on sagetv store but on newegg.com I saw this one ENUWI-N3. Is it the same one as the ENUWI-N in the SageTV store or is it a different one? Is it compatible?
