Is there a way to edit guide data?

Is there anything plugin wise that lets user's edit the guide data? Something like the Batch Meta data tools? It seems to me that user's are always going to run into mis-matches and it would be great if they could edit the data and perhaps even submit it as a change request.

Seems like you could make a plugin that would be a wizard similar to editing which channels are enabled/disabled. . . allow you to preview, find a show in any locale that matches the data you are looking for, edit the time block, etc. except for you would want to be able to do it on a show basis as well as channel/station basis.

That way manual recordings could at least have some data upfront. . . which would allow other plugins like Sage Recording Extender to work properly. . .

Best you can do is submit the corrections here, which sage then relays to zap2it (since THEY are zap2it's customer on this).

Right, but my point is that takes way too long and often times its a problem that is not easily resolved (eg. sunday ticket info).

Like I said, it seems like you should just be able to pick some time-slot and edit the information . . . and then maybe tie that data to a particular show that does exist. Then you could potentially submit a guide issue right from this plugin/feature.

Doesn't seem like it would be that hard to build a plugin. . . but maybe there are some technical limitations that I don't know about. . .
