Have anyone sucessfully solved the DirectTV mistuning issues yet?

I am still having mistuning with my Paterson USB tuning and it recording wrong channels etc.

I notice it would turn just first digit channel number like 3 instead of 304 then it would go to my local channel which is channel 3

I read somewhere in this forum that one had success by adjusting the delay timing of the tune and how does one change the delay on a direct serial tune?

Thank you
Bill

3 Paterson's working fine here. Firmware is the latest and the settings are the default ones, found on Paterson's website. You could always email Tim Paterson...he usually replies within hours.

Agree. Two Patersons are working great for me - running latest firmware and default settings.

When I first read this thread I didn't want to post because all 4 of mine had been working fine for almost 3 weeks. In the last 2 days I've had 1 receiver develop a problem each day (different tuners though). I thought I'd nailed down the issue yesterday when I noticed that the serial end of my Paterson devices were not tightly connected to the serial ports. It's possible my problem tonight (actually started late last night) is related to my fixing and forgetting to reset that particular H21. I'm at least a little hopeful that it's working.

Switch to Usb - Serial - null - Serial - Usb

I switched out the Pattersen and I am trying the Usb - Serial - null - Serial - Usb option. I had the parts on had since I bought them back when I was going to go to a two box setup, but didn't. In fact I have a HD-PVR brand new sitting in the box...

I have been running for a week without hiccups, although my HD200 seems to be locking up now and then (arg) but I think that is totally unrelated, enless it is a tuning thing? I need to update all my drivers...

It not going good for me at all

It got to be the DirectTV box cuz I swapped out to URIT USB and it still mistune sometime.

When it mistune I get "Channel not available" or it tune into my local channel on 3

I am thinking of getting another DirectTV box hoping it will solve my issue or maybe just go with DirectTV DVR
