Different tuner types with combined lineup?

I was wondering if this is possible:

I currently have 3x HD-PVRs doing all of my recording duties. I would like to add a HD-Homerun for clear QAM HD locals. I would also like to have a single unified channel lineup where in if I select (or record from) one of the HD locals, the HD HomeRuns have priority and are used instead of the HD-PVRs if they are free.

If this isn't possible, are there any work arounds to enable something close to this functionality?

Thanks

In SageTV terminology, a channel lineup is the set of channels a tuner can receive. So your HDHR will need a different lineup than your HD-PVRs (which presumably all share the same lineup), with only the clear QAM locals enabled.

The Program Guide shows a merged list of channels from all lineups. Channels available through more that one lineup are shown just once in the Guide. You can control which tuner is preferred in such cases using the encoder_merit setting in Sage.properties.

So in other words, Sage already does exactly what you want, provided you set the merits appropriately.
