Different tuner types on same EPG

This may have been asked but I searched and can't find it so.....

Now that I have the HDHR working I want to continue to try to use my On-Air GT's too.

Both will use the same Comcast Digital Cable EPG Line-up. But, of course, you can't really do that.

What is the trick to get two different tuners to seemingly work on the same EPG so it's transparent to the end user when they surf channels (i.e. my wife).

thanks

Stacy

You need to find a second EPG to use. You may be able to find a EPG for a neighboring town to use. That is what many of us are doing, I'm using 3 different EPGs to take care of my three different tuner setups, even though I only have service from one CC.

edit: And if you only get you local channels on the HDHR (no free QAM'ed cable channels), you may be able to trick Sage and tell it to use a OTA EPG source but still use the HDHR in QAM mode (remapping needed anyways). I'm not sure about that one, threw it out as a possibility in another thread, but never heard if it worked or not.
