Solved - Lag caused by network

On the weekend, I had my wife complain about the my new Sage installation. Movies would grind down or halt midway, some show would slow down. I'm not sure what was more irratating - the wife or Sage . I had done all the general fixes noted here (java heap, page file, network speed, etc.). None of them fixed the problem. The problem was occuring on both my HD-200's and my Sage PC client. One of the fixes was to enable FLOW CONTROL on my network card. I looked at it and it was already enabled. I thought 'what the heck', and disabled it. Lo and behold it worked! The wife even likes me again.
