How to use Hauppauge Tuner with Samsung/Bose Remote

Hi,

I have a Hauppauge 950Q USB TV Tuner. It comes with its own remote. However, I would like to use either my Samsung/Bose remotes to control the Hauppauge TV Tuner. I called Hauppauge to check the remote code for the device and they said that there is none available but I can try using the codes for Magnavox/Philips. I tried all the codes that are possible for these two devices and still cannot get my Samsung/Bose remotes to control the 950Q device.

PS: I am using the device on Windows XP Service Pack 2

Any help or pointers would be much appreciated.

Thanx.
