Problem converting mpeg stream to MPEG4 HDTV
Hey everyone, I'm having an issue converting my recordings. I'm using a Mac Mini (early 2009) running Leopard, recording off my cable box via Firewire using the network encoder. I end up with MPEG streams, which I have to convert in order to watch on the mini using FrontRow. I've been able to get it to work using the AppleTV profile, but if I try to use the MPEG4 HDTV profiles (any of them), it always fails - even though the non-HDTV MPEG4 compression runs fine.
Any ideas? Am I missing a codec somewhere? I'm stumped at this point, and I couldn't find anything in the forums that applied to the Mac. Thanks!
