Best Way to Manually Record New Channel not yet in Guide

Verizon is running a free preview of a brand new channel (Epix / EpixHD if anyone cares) which is not yet in the EPG lineup (I've sent email to both Zap2It and SageTV tech support). There's a movie on tonight that starts at 7:10p and goes for 2 hours.

I have an HD-PVR blasting to a set-top box and use SageMC.

What's the best way to record this movie? Start up LiveTV, select some channel via SageTV and then (not through SageTV) change the channel on the set-top box?

Will SageTV keep recording until I stop it and will it save the entire program if I click "Save" at the end?

SageTV main menu..."Setup"..."Setup Video Sources"...Select your tuner..."Channel Setup"..."Edit Channel Lineup"..."Add Channel to Lineup", and then enter the channel info.

The channel will show up in the SageTV program guide.

Thank You! I spent 30-45 minutes searching the forums for just this thing -- I also poked at SageTV in the Channel Setup area but couldn't find Add Channel.
