How to manually add a TV channel

I have multiple DVB-T Freeview tuners all using the EPG of the first tuner. I wish to manually add BBC3 which is not currently in the channel list. I believe the .frq entry is:
CH:37 onid:9018 tsid:4100 sid:4351 frq:506000000 band:8 ctrl:1 #:BBC-THREE

... but which files do I edit and how? I have tried adding the above to the tuner's .frq file and I can see that there are entries in the sage.properties file but nothing I have done so far have resulted in a new entry.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of what to do, step by step?

Many thanks.

I'm not using your hardware - but can't you add channels directly from the Sage interface? Been a while... but there's an area where you can enable/disable channels - and iirc, you can manually add channels there.

Yes, but I am not sure what to enter. Given that the technical data is:
CH:37 onid:9018 tsid:4100 sid:4351 frq:506000000 band:8 ctrl:1 #:BBC-THREE what do I enter in the "Channel ID"?
