first, you've really gotta read the manual (at least the quick guide).

second. There will be two 300's in the list, but they will be for different channels (sage WILL combine multiple channels if they share the same ChannelID (from Zap2It.com), regardless of channel number. Basically, just tell Sage what you have, and trust that it is smart enough to make the right decisions. It'll surprise you (it's called 'Sage' for a reason).

I have two HD-PVRs plugged into the USB ports on my mobo (which is an Asus P5Q-Pro). These are both connected to Rogers HD cable boxes (SA3250HDs) and channel changing is done via firewire. I also have an SD cable box connected to a PCI based tuner for which I use a USB-UIRT to change channels.

Clients - 2xHD-300, 8xHD-200 Extenders, Client+2xPlaceshifter and a WHS which acts as a backup Sage server
