Transcoding HD-PVR Recordings - Audio Sync

Recently I have been playing with Sage's built in transcoding to produce files for my wife's Zune HD. Through info in these forums and a little tinkering, I have created some new profiles that are working well. Except for recordings made from my HD-PVR, which have a noticeable audio sync problem. I believe the transcoding is done through ffmpeg. Is it possible to upgrade to a newer version of ffmpeg that will work with Sage? Is there a command line parameter I can set to change the audio delay (there is a muxdelay and muxpreload but I assume they affect both audio and video, which would not help?)?

I am aware that there are several (great, I'm sure) plugins for video conversion, but I would prefer to not install more software on my server, if possible.

Wondering if anyone else is having similar issues, or if anyone is transcoding HD-PVR created files succesfully, before I spent more time tinkering. Any help or advice would be appreciated. TIA.

gatorwes: Would you be willing to share what profiles you are using to sync to the Zune HD? I don't have a HD-PVR all mine is standard def, so I don't think that I'll see the problem. Just looking for an easy way to get SageTV content on the Zune HD. Thanks.
