Time to start over

After almost a year of learning Sage, it's time to re-build everything. I want to reformat by boot drive, then reinstall everything fresh, but I don't to loose my recordings and schedule.

Is the Wiz.bin the only file I should carry forward?

I would copy the whole directory over just in case but yes the only thing you really need is the wiz.bin. I would get everything working like it was an all new setup. Configure tuners map video, music folders etc. Then shut down the service and just drop the wiz.bin in place of the one from the original install.

There's a sticky FAQ thread at the top of this forum for doing this type of thing while retaining recording info.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. Just wanted to be sure. I also found this thread on the same basic topic. http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44447
