I'd question the need for the amplifier. Any unneeded amplifier does nothing but add noise to your already strong enough signal.
As for the meter, it depends on the individual meter... some you should target for 0db, some a completely different number... check the manual for the individual meter.

I'll have to post my splitter brand tomorrow
I do know my powered splitter -maybe without an amp - is much better when powered but I have removed my online amp this is very frustrating still. My dvico tuners and my zinwell set top boxes work great I'm almost about to sell this hdhr Last edited by ybrew; 10-28-2009 at 07:58 PM. |
