Question Distinct channels with same name

Is it possible to set up channels with the same name to be distinct channels?

Directv has channels 611, 612, and 615 which are all named BIGTENO (BigTen Network Overflow). Using the channel setup (Sage 6.6.1) it will not allow these 3 logical channels to have distinct physical channels.

Am I missing something with the setup? or is this not possible?

I've been told that it's not possible (http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43426).

My workaround was to manually name the stations "BIGTENO2", "BIGTENO3", "BIGTENO4". You don't get the guide data, but it works for tuning the stations. The guide data isn't tons of help anyway, since it can't tell you which game is on which station. You have to go to bigtennetwork.com to get the airing information and then set a manual record.

I didn't bother to log a defect/feature, since this impacts me all of probably 2 Saturdays a year (when Ohio State is on an overflow station). Otherwise, it's not a huge issue for me.

Thanks for the reply. I'll just rename them like you sugguest, since this likely won't affect me any more than you. (Penn State here, they happened to be on an overflow yesterday.)
