Channel only tunes on 2nd try?

The Hauppuage 1600/1800 are behaving oddly when I tune a digital channel. The first time I try viewing a channel it always displays "No Signal". So I hit 'stop' and re watch that channel and it loads fine.

I have the 1600 and 1800, as well as an HD Home Run. I removed all tuners except the 1600 and it still happens. Then I tried just the 1800, and it failed as well. The HD Home Run works fine. This didn't start until I updated to the last SageTV release. This also happens with scheduled recordings. I also scanned all the channels to make sure the frequencies haven't changed.

I did notice in the props "broadcast_standard=ATSC", I tried changing to QAM but it keeps changing back...

Here's one of the configs:

I don't know if it's related or not, but since my last upgrade to 6.6.2.218, I've been seeing a lot of the "halt detected in recording" messages.

It's happened with an Sapphire 650 (ati 650) and a hauppage 2250. Seems to occur at the start of the recording once or twice, but then records ok.

Bump - I've spent 2 days now reconfiguring and still can't figure this out. One interesting note though. In the Video Source setup when I view the channel it works fine, but when I goto the guide it won't tune!

I just finished uninstalling and deleting the sagetv server. Then installed an older build, 6.5.8, and reconfigured. I encountered the exact same problem, I'm beginning to think this is a hardware failure, but I confuses me that the source setup preview works fine, but it fails to display in the program guide or when scheduling a recording.
