SageTV Mac CPU usage

Looking for people to post there CPU usage recording & serving a few streams for a point of reference.

I plan to move my SageTV server over to my main server (Mac OS Server). Before doing so I would like to see what kind of load people are seeing on the CPU with Mac version of Sage. I have found often in the past ported software to Mac OS X just really blows, and chomps up CPU. Maybe ported isn't the right term to use in this case, but more often then not the Windows version is the only focus.

With a pretty old Dual Core P4 2.5GHz recording 3-4 ATSC streams with the HDHomeRun, and serving 2 streams to HD200s, running Vista Business the CPU sits at around 3-5%. It jumps up every now and then, but I'm guessing it is them forwarding n such.

I can only reference recording on my Mac from the HD-PVR, since that's the only recording device I have. It doesn't even tickle my CPU. I haven't noticed any jump in CPU draw when one of the other clients in the house is being fed either.

What I do notice is that playback on the server itself draws heavy CPU. Best I can tell, that is due to mplayer on the Mac not being very good. Don't know if they have anything up their sleeve for an mplayer replacement.
