2 faulty IR receiver ? What should I do now...

Hey guys,

I use GP-IR02BK and it worked for a while. But for an unknown reason, it started to connect/disconnect all the time. So I hear the usb sounds of Windows 2 times (plug/unplug) and the remote continue to work. Sometimes, it can do multiples times in a row so it's annoying.

I've been experiencing this problem for a while. I even ordered a second remote thinking it would fix the problem but no. it didn't. I just formatted my computer and installed Windows 7. The problem still occur so I don't know how to troubleshoot this anymore. Do you think I could have 2 faulty receivers' doing the exact same problem ?

What should I do now ? I was looking for an USB-UIRT but it's kinda pricy for just a receiver. And would it work out of the box with my MCE remote or would need I to map things (I'm using LM Gestion to keymaping) ? I got an 360 that I've linked with VMC, would the USB-UIRT work it too (Talking about the VMC, not the 360)

Just wanted to say that I fixed the problem couples of months ago. So if anybody has the same problem...

The solution is quite simple. I'm now using powered USB hub and it fixed it ! Seems there was some problem with voltage of ALL of my usb ports... or the receivers.
