AVerMedia AVerTVHD vs Hauppauge HVR-2250

I am looking for a dual tuner card to record OTA digitial and OTA HD channels.

Does anyone have any experience with either of these cards with recording OTA?

Thanks,

Marty

OTA HD is OTA digital. Either card will work. SageTV officially supports the 2250.

My tv shows some of the channels as being just digital and some being HD digital. Is this not the case?

In any case, thanks for the info.

OTA HD is digital, but OTA digital doesn't always have to be HD. Either way, the digital tuners are simply saving the digital stream and the only difference is how well the tuner works to pull in the signal properly. Personally, I prefer the SiliconDust HDHR.
