EPG data on the web, but not in Sage EPG? Taboo channels?
I'm just installing my first Sage system. I set up the channel map (HDHR, Comcast Digital, Berkeley, CA). Though it took a few hours (isn't there an easier way?) I've pretty much got it right. There are problems with a few channels, though.
Some channels show "No Data" in the Sage EPG, even though there is definitely data in the web version of zap2it. The station name (including case) and ID# is identical betwen the two. These channels include 3 KNTV #10600, 10 KTEH #10717, 16 KKPX #10562, 64 EP #17561.
Some channels seem "taboo" or something. When I look at the program guide, they are listed in the far left column, but in the program grid they are completely blank. They don't even say "no data". Worse, I can't select these channels. Up/down channel arrows skip right over them, whether in the guide or while watching live TV. When I punch in their channel numbers numerically, Sage ignores me and stays where it is. There are lots of these, including 24 (EDAC024), 26 (CALCHAN), 27 (EDAC027), 35 (FOODP), 36 (FXP), 38 (ESPN), 41 (TBSP), 42 (USAP), 58 (CNBC), 59 (FNC), 60 (MSNBC) and lots more. Again, the channel ID's, both text and numerical, match identically. All are enabled.
I'm seeing exactly the same thing from sage client and placeshifter, and from my HD Theater box.
According to the system information screen, the EPG was last updated at 11:00 last night. I was probably still in the middle of configuring channels at that time. It says the next EPG update is in 0 minutes. I've tried to force an update, by disabling-enabling a channel, but it doesn't seem to want to update right now.
FWIW, I'm running SageTV 6.5.20.1 (the new beta) on ubuntu, and also the beta extender firmware 20090702-0.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
