importing .xml, how do you do it.

Hi, I have downloaded the sagetv application, which is far better than the vista mc interface, although I couldnt get the spdif to work in XP it works ok in my vista ultimate.
Now my question, I have sagetv working great, I downloaded the imovies plugin, is says to copy the 2 folders over to the sagetv directory then import the .xml, but I am stumped as to how you import the .xml. I tried importing it using the settings/detailed setup/advanced, I tried the sagetv application package importer, but after selecting the .xml imovies it broke the interface and I had to copy the backup sagetv I made back over.
The manage stv plugins does'nt see the .xml, so how do you do it.

I have searched the forum with various search criteria but to no avail, I am stumped please help, I would like to get the imovied working with my HD films.

iMovies is an import for the SageMC alternate user interface. It will not work in the default SageTV UI.
