Unhappy problems with importing xml data

Hello,

I'm trying the 15 days period trial version of SageTV and it looks great! I tried other pvr software before (like myHTPC, Showshifter and GBPVR), but all didn't 100% work with my Hauppauge 350 card and remote control. But it looks like SageTV can do the trick!

Only there is one problem left I can't seem to fix. I'm living in the Netherlands and I collect the xml EPG data through a tool made by someone called "TVgids_to_xml". This tools collects the epg-data from a dutch TVguide page and parses it into the epgdata.xml file.

Importing this epgdata won't work in SageTV for some reason. The xml file however works with Showshifter, myHTPC and others, so I don't doubt there is something wrong with it.

What I do doubt is the xmltv plugin I use. I have found two:
The one on http://mta.techno.org/epg/ ; this one only shows the channel name and "no data" as programm information.
Secondly I tried corykim's xmltv plugin (may 2003 version); this one freezes SageTV after some minutes when it tries to setup the Programming Guide Data in the setup Wizard.

So my question is if I am using the right plugin, or should I use another one?

(example of the xml file I use cane be found here )

The XML is not valid -- the start and stop times are missing a time zone... ie:
20040703144500 +0200
Try using the tv_grab_nl from the XMLTV project to get valid XMLTV files as a comparison.

Thanks for the answer! I tried it right away, but still no succes.... only the channel names again....
Also tried the corykim's xmltv plugin, it doesn't freeze anymore. But also only the channel names...

Where can I find the tv_grab_nl you are talking about?

[Edit:] found some xml's on http://xmltv.assies.info/ and renamed the one of today into "epgdata.xml"... AND THOSE WORK!!!!!!

Now I only have to fix the problem with my channel id's which don't match with the ones in xml file.

Thanks for the link! I downloaded it and installed it in the c:\xmltv directory.
Than I made a BAT file in the same directory with next line in it:

xmltv.exe tv_grab_nl --days 2 --output epgdata.xml
exit

But this doesn't seem to work
Does anyone have an example BAT file for me?
And do I have to do anything special with the "C:\xmltv\share\xmltv\tv_grab_nl\channels"-file?

Thanks

[FIXED:] I forgot to do "xmltv.exe tv_grab_nl --configure"

(I just had to RTFM )
