What recordings were missed?
My Sage machine crashed at some point in the past 24 hours after running just fine for weeks (months?). I'm not concerned about the crash at this point - hey, it's Windows...
However, I'm not sure if any recordings were missed. Is there any way to determine: a) what was missed and b) whether those shows are airing again so they can be recorded? Thanks! Mitch |

If you're running the latest beta these messages would be in the new system messages area with exactly what tuner failed, what show didn't record and what time it happened. Upgrade today.

not exactly what he was wanting.. this is true if an encoder dies, and sage still lives.. however, if the computer itself crashes, you will not get messages generated for stuff that WOULD have recorded during that time, and has instead been missed.

This is also true of an encoder dies and Sage dies shortly after. No telling what could have died or stopped working before the final crash. SO if you don't have debug enabled this is your best chance of getting a hint of what tuner stopped working and what didn't get recorded. A whole chain of events can occur before it finally brings the machine down. If it is just a BSOD and a program didn't get recorded, Sage will try and record it again.
