continuous loop of one show?

Is there a way to set a recording to auto repeat when yuo play it back? My son sometimes wants to watch one of his cartoon shorts, and invariably he wants to see it about 3x before he is tired of it. Unfortunately for us they are only 5 min segments, so its a pain to keep going back and restarting it.

Also, whats the magic way to get it to not start where you left off last (usually at the end) when you go to play it again? it seems like most of the time when I go to watch somethign I recently watched its queued up at the end and I dont see an easy way to "play from beginning" (like I can on my replaytv)

I've never used these, but you can create and play back video playlists in Sage. I would think that would work pretty well for you.

As for the second issue, I think there's a plugin called Multi-function stop that pops up a screen when you hit stop on your remote. I'm pretty sure one of the options is to play from the beginning.

Yes, with Multifunction Stop you press 'stop' and 'rewind' and it plays a show from the beginning.


You can also 'stop a recording in progress'



Or Stop the player from playing (simple 'stop' leaves it playing, which is annoying if you then go to another room and want to finish watching and then it won't let you delete because the other room is still 'watching').
