EPG showing No Data
It's been a few years since I set up my original Sage box, so I'm a little rusty on some of the particulars. Maybe someone can refresh my memory.
I live in TO and subscribe to Rogers Digital, but only grab the analog signal out of the wall, then split the coax and send it to my capture cards. I'm still using a SD TV at this point so the quality is just fine for now. My capture cards are set to Rogers - Toronto (YorK), not the Rogers Digital selection. I have noticed that some of the EPG data is missing; "No Data" appears in a few places. Looking back through a few posts there is mention of Canadian being able to use either the Digicasa EPG plugin, or the XMLTV Import Tool. I honestly have no recollection of installing either of these before, and I never had any problems with EPG data. Are these plugins still the best way to get complete EPG data, or has Sage's built-in EPG got it covered? Also, is it possible that it might take a day or two for Sage to gather up all the data for the EPG after a fresh install?

It shouldn't take too long to get the data - that is not the problem. The data is all there - I have Rogers Digital (Scarberia) on three tuners with no issues.
I have had this problem before myself - try searching for "No Data" - I think this may even be covered in the FAQs on this site. Another idea is to delete the sources and try again. If that doesn't work try Sage support - they are very good. Here is the FAQ item http://forums.sage.tv/forums/showthr...704#post119704

So, you aren't using any plugins then?
The data has filled in now from what I can tell, but being as this is the off season for most new programs, I can't really tell if the data quality is there.

No plugins and I get pretty much every English channel that Rogers offers and I have no data issues. The data comes from Zap2it - if you go to Zap2it.com and enter your postal code you sould see the same data as Sage uses.
