Question I hope a quick Q & A - Verison Fios HD

Anyone actually had any success at geting sageTv to work with their FIOS HD receiver? Am I correct to assume the signal from the HDMI would be QAM?

I was considering ordering up the HD-PVR H.264 unit as my second
SageTv unit. Anything to get rid of having to deal with the horrible
FIOS UI, and Bugs. It is truly so bad IMHO I am willing to spend $500
to replace it with a PVR and a IR blaster as long as I don't have to see the Fios HD unit again.

Now I am off to decide if I should watch GodFather III for free on A&E or
pay to watch it ON-DEMAND download via ethernet for $2.99! How LAME is that??? Well, I will have to let it go... it is a new movie!

Thanks again!
(One HD OTA ATSC SageTV PVR up and running, one more to go...)

Mark

PS. Reading another post, from an advanced SageTV user and lots of Fios boxes
I never thought of asking... If I set up a PVR off the HDMI or Component out of
the Fios HD unit, and I going to run in to a problem with evil DRM?

Thanks again

QAM is bare cable into QAM capable capture card/device.
HDPVR will get you access to the "premium" HD channels via a component output. (Note: You can do HDMI if you want, but it requires an additional adapter to do so.)
