DVD's not recognized

I am running SageTV 6.5.9.204, HD Theater 6.4.5.1 I can view live TV on both computer monitor screen and television (the television never looked this good before), I can only view DVDs on computer screen, accessing them through sageTV. When switching to Media on television DVD option is not there. Did I miss something in the setup?

So the issue is that the DVD rips you have done are not playing back on the HD200? Did you use a program to strip the encryption off of the DVD? The HD200 can not do DVD playback with encryption. It can only play back unencrypted dvd's.

I have not ripped the DVD's, I am running them on a DVD player in the PC through Theater Tek in sageTV. Do I need to rip them to my hard drive to play them? Or is there a way to play them in the PC, run through theatertek>sageTV>HD 200> television?

You need to rip them or install AnyDVD on the PC where the DVD drive is.
