HD100 BSOD on Connect

I have opened a bug report, but I figured after a day of troubleshooting on my own I should ask for some help here as well. My HD100 is giving a blank screen on connect to the server.

The Setup:
-The HD100 is used over a friend's house in placeshifter mode. Was running beta firmware 20081224 0.
-It is connected to a 720P Plasma TV via HDMI connection (audio & video).
-It connects via Locator ID to my SageTV server which is (was) running SageTV 6.5.14. I have 4 placeshifter licenses installed.
-There is no firewall or A/V running on the SageTV server

How I Broke It:
1. Upgraded the HD100 firmware to beta 20090428 1. Upgraded completed fine and HD100 rebooted.
2. Connected to server via placeshifter mode. Connected fine. No audio for any playback type. (The dreaded HDMI no audio)
3. Flashed HD100 firmware to latest release version: 20080812 0. Firmware flash completed fine and HD100 rebooted.
4. Tried to connect to server via placeshifter mode... black screen. Active light stays lit. Link light flashes for about 1/2 a second once every 3-4 seconds.

What I Have Tried:
- Brought the HD100 home and connected it to same local network as the SageTV server. It discovers the server, but gives the same blank screen when it tries to connect. It is now connected to a plasma 720P TV via component connection (reconfigured it for this connection type).
- Restarted the SageTV server completely and tried reconnecting.
- Hard reset the switch that both the SageTV server and HD100 are connected to.
- Performed a Configuration Reset on the HD100
- Performed the Recovery Procedure using firmware 20080812 0 (verified it was in place after)
- Performed the Recovery Procedure using firmware 20090428 1 (verified)
- Deleted the properties & backup properties files for the HD100 from the SageTV server (they are never recreated).
- Uninstalled 6.5.14 from the SageTV server and installed 6.5.13
- Video and Aspect ratio buttons have no affect.

At one point I did turn on debug logging to capture a log file for Sage support, but I don't see anything in the log file that shows the HD100 is even trying to connecting.

With the HD100 on the LAN, everything I tried above I did while connecting BOTH to the locally discovered sageTV server and using the configured placeshifter locator ID.

I think I bricked it.

Something I forgot. Placeshifter client connects fine to the server, both on the LAN and from remote locations.

Connect the HD100 to a TV with s-video or composite connection for grins and giggles.

No go with s-video. Other than the configuration screen not displaying automatically when the HD100 started up and having to press the Video Out button a few times to get it to show, there was no change. Once the config screen displayed I did go into settings and changed it to use s-video output for video prior to trying to connect (just fyi).

I have the HD100 connecting once again, but still have problems. Apparently it was two sets of problems with the same symptoms.

First up, no matter what I do, or how many times I reload the firmware, version 20080812 0 will not connect to my SageTV server running 6.5.13/14 in placeshifter mode.

Second, because my firewall will not allow port numbers above 29000 to be used, I have Sage placeshifter set to connect on port 28999. The HD100 on the LAN using either firmware version would not automatically use this port number. I added the server manually with the :28999 after the IP address and could connect locally.

Two problems, same symptom. Now on to the original problem...

I can not use the HD100 in placeshifter mode with firmware 20080812 0.
I get no audio from the HD100 in placeshifter mode with beta firmware 20090428 1.

Is there someplace I can download beta firmware 20081224 0 from? It worked fine for me on both fronts.
