USB UIRT and the D11 Directv STB

After getting the D11 receiver and reading around on these forums it was suggested that a USB UIRT can control the set top box. However now that I have bought the USB UIRT I still cannot get it working. The only thing I have found that comes close is on a beyond tv forum a .rmt file was available which was supposed to work. After copying it into the right spot for sagetv though I notice sagetv uses .ir files. I tried just renaming the extension but when I go to watch tv it crashes sagetv. Any suggestions on how I can get this to work?

Here's the .ir file from my H10 receiver (I've used the same handheld remote for my D series receivers before so this should work).

Hope it works for you. It's zone free, by the way.

EDIT: If you rename the file you also have to edit the file so that the new file name appears on the first line of the .ir file.
