Harmony 890 RF Timings and HD 200

So I've searched and there is only one thread with this unresolved issue.

Is anyone successfully using the Harmony 890 RF extender to control their HD200?

The Harmony Profile for this device doesn't work very well. Key presses are not consistent or particularly fast, sometimes erratic. I believe it's in the IR timing settings. Has anyone achieved a workable setup with the 890? I would be very interested in your device settings.

Mine is ALMOST 100%. I say it is about 90% (before it was usable always press the button once and getting 2-3 moves and when pushing a button will take 1 sec to respond). Sometimes I still get the double presses. I contacted email logitic support for them to adjust my settings.

QueOnda,
That sounds better than what I have. Could you share your IR delay settings?

Thanks,

I could (when I get home tonight) but Logitech support has access to some settings which we cannot access or change. I would recommend you sending them an email. They normally respond in about 24 hours.

If you go into the "troubleshooting" of the device, you can go into "device responds to some commands either to many times or only occasionally". Change this to 0 (or 1) if you are getting repeat commands.

tt55du,

I was not able to get to the settings yesterday. I hope you tried jdamore suggestion or contacting Harmony support.

no worries, thanks for the status, I actually had time to dig out my wires and use the troubleshoot option as suggested by jdamore. I wound up choosing setting 4. It works a lot better. Not as fast as i like, but it can at least queue up keystrokes way better.
