Harmony 890
Is anyone here using a Harmony 890 with wireless extender with SAGE. I have been playing around with the various timing paramaters within the Harmony setup and the Sage setup and I can not get the remote to respond correctly. The appropriate keys are mapped fine... it the timing between keypresses that are the issues. If someone has solved this already I would be grateful!
Thanks, ED

I don't have the 890 but in the Harmony config website there is an option or advanced option where you can redefine the amount of time between keypresses.

I have a 659 in conjunction with a USB-UIRT. I have the Inter-key delay on the remote set to 100 ms, and I have no problems. You can go into "trouble shoot" on your remote homepage and select the device. Then select the option that says your device responds too slowly and that will bring you to where you can adjust the inter-key delay.

Thanks. I have been through the various timing options on the Harmony website.... to no avail. Generally I get two key presses for each actual keypress and only get Sage responses to every other keystroke. I will try the 100ms timing mentioned above. It would be helpful to know what the other parameters are and if any tweaking is being done in the Sage.Properties file.
Thanks, ED

Sometimes there are two codes associated with a key so you have to learn them both to each command.
